My last post was an article about Google+ and how it was going to possibly take over Facebook so I found it interesting that I found this Blog about the same topic.
Chris Brogan discusses the fact that Google+ should not be someone's blog because blogs are all about getting to know a person and that is more of a private topic. Personal opinions should not be posted on Google+ because if someone wants to get to know you, they will come to your "personal property" and ask.
I agree with Brogan. I also feel the same way with Facebook and other social networking sites. Some people put just too much about their life on the internet that is just not necessary.

How do you feel about people posting personal information on Google+ or even other social networking site?
With this being seen as a problem, do you think Google+ will be successful?
Do you agree with Chris Brogan?
I feel so out of my league. I have no basis to agree or disagree with Brogan because I have not kept up with the social media times.
ReplyDeleteHow do I feel about people posting personal information on any social networking site?
My thought is that if you can limit who has access to the info, within moderation it might be okay. But if it's for all the world to see? Not so much.
I could not tell you if Google+ would be successful or not since I hardly ever use social networking on the internet.
