I love watching this Doritos commercial. In my opinion this is the best interpretation of the irresistable flavor of Doritos chips in a very comedic manner. I am an avid Doritos consumer and when this commercial was released I felt as though it was so very relateable and true in which made it even more comedic.
1) If you are a Doritos consumer did you find this video to be very relateable or humorous?
2) If you do not eat Doritos chips, did this ad entice you to want to atleast try them?
3) As a consumer what did you think of the overall commercials approach?
1) I do not buy Doritos that much, but I do like them a lot. This commercial was so funny! I loved it.

3) I thought this commercial definitely got the point across. It showed what kind of chips it was, and it showed they were cheesy and good. I think it hit all the main points and would make someone want some Doritos.

ReplyDelete1. I'm not an avid Doritos consumer but I do enjoy them from time to time. I do think this commercial is relatable to Doritos consumers because I have seen people lick their fingers after eating them to get all of the flavor so I think Doritos customers would find it funny.

3. I think the commercial is effective for getting the point out that Doritos are "finger-licking good." It made me hungry for Doritos and I would think it would have the same effect on others as well.
I am a Doritos consumer and I found this commercial to be humorous, but a bit over-dramatized. Either way, I like the commercial and it did kind-of make me crave some Doritos. Even if I didn't eat Doritos I would still like this commercial, because of the way the Doritos fanatic reacts; it's humorous. I definitely think this commercial did a good job of selling Doritos as a cheesy, enjoyable snack.

ReplyDeleteI am a Dorito fan so I get it. But if I wasn't, I'm not sure it would entice me. Would I really want someone snagging my pants for Dorito cheese? I get it, the commercial is a spoof. I do think it would entice newbies to try the product.

Which suddenly gives me new ideas to entice my children to do their chores! They would put their glass in the dishwasher for a Doritos chip!
Doritos is one of my favorite chips and I found this commerical very funny. I agree with Maggy though I did find it very voer-dramatized. If I see someone with cheesy fingers from eating Doritos I would NOT just lick their fingers. That's gross! I overall thought the commercial was funny and kind of weird. I'd never do that for Doritos.
