I've always loved this commercial. It makes me laugh and I think it makes a really good point at the same time. I never noticed how ridiculous other tampons commercials were before I saw this. Personally I don't feel like doing any of those things when its my time..

I think this commerecial is pretty funny with how it makes fun of all the other tampon commercials. It's like the other tampon commercials talk about dancing, and running, and twirling, but when I am on my I don't want to do any of that stuff; I just want to lay in bed and do nothing. This doesn't necessarily make me want to try Kotex. I have tried it before and it just didn't cut it for me like Tampax Pearl does. I love their ads, but not their product.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason other brands feature thing named in this video is because they want women to feel like if they use their product, it's like not even having a period; they are "free."
I thought this commercial was a bit strange but somewhat humorous. I don' really like this straightforward approach because to be honest I really don't think anybody wants to dance or twirl when it is their time.

I agree with Brittany on this last question. I think every girl dreads their time of month and they want to make it seem like it is a breeze and "fun."
While I was watching this commercial I was thinking “Is this a joke?” It is an interesting approach to a tampon commercial. It doesn’t really make me want to go out and buy their brand.
